Senator John Boozman (R-AR) signed onto S. 441 as a co-sponsor.
John Boozman (R-AR) is the 18th Member of the United States
Senate who has signed on in support of S. 441 and has publicly signaled to
the FDA that premium cigars are different and that they should be exempt
from FDA regulatory authority.
Arkansas CRA member Bob Tyler of Little Rock,
stated "on behalf of the premium cigar consumers of Arkansas we would
like to thank Senator Boozman for his support of S. 441, which sends a
clear message to the FDA that they have no business in Arkansas cigar
Tyler further stated that "this
legislation is about protecting the artisan cigar market and those of us
who are adult consumers who don't need the federal government dictating how
we enjoy our passion for premium cigars."

(R-AR) as well as Congressman Steve Womack (R-AR) and Rick Crawford (R-AR)
in support of an exemption.
