I was excited to finally try these little gems. I am a fan of most things that come out of La Zona, and one thing is for sure is that they are always well constructed. From initial light to the nub the thing burned razor sharp with a nice white ash, that held on for about 3 inches before dropping each time. The cigar started off with a little power out of the gate, and had a nice spicy flavor to it with a shitton of smoke production. There was a subtle slight sweetness early on in the stick that I couldn't quite put my finger on.

On into the second third, those subtle sweet notes were long gone with the traditional nutty woodsy flavors coming into play mixed with a nice pepper on the palate and the retrohale. Still burning nicely to this point and I would say strength is lying in between a medium to medium full, with full body on this stick. I did cut this belicoso a little deeper than normally due to my drunkedness ability using a table cutter, however I think it really helped out with the smoke production. The other one I smoked I went with a v-cutter to prevent the same retardedness from happening, and the smoke seemed to be cut back, with a little tighter draw as well.

The stick became a little "blah" at this point and was smoking a little warm. There was a slight coffee note that came into play in the back third, but the temperature was a little more than I like once the band was moved.
